Research and development
Maison Plein Cœur develops since its foundation in 1991 a methodology of implicit community research which contributes:
- to identify the psychosocial needs of people living with HIV;
- to understand the problems and their causes at the person and in a natural environment;
- to develop community (participative) interventions adapted to the people and to their vision of the world.
A new project (Solidarité Nord-Sud) is initiated since January 2002 in partnership with Canadian Crossroads International (CCI) and the COCQ-SIDA to support an African nongovernmental organization by the means of an exchange of expertise and human resources. By this project, Maison Plein Cœur affirms once more its will to widen its horizons and its cultural knowledge, in particular with regard to the African population, unceasingly increasing its various services.
